Felicia Events sat down with Jason Wright Guitarrista

to chat about having live music that brings passion to your event! 

Felicia Events: Tell us a little bit about yourself and what kind of music you play.

Jason Wright Guitarrista: I'm Jason Wright Guitarrista, a Flamenco and Spanish Classical guitarist. I've been a guitarist for 28 years. I’ve performed many different genres throughout the years but my callings are Flamenco, Spanish Classical, and Gypsy styles. I'm very drawn to the raw emotion, romantic feel, and passionate sounds of flamenco music. 

FE: How did you get started in the music business?

JWG: I started taking college-level guitar classes while I was in high school. The first rule of business is diversification. I learned throughout the years that I needed to learn as many styles as possible to make my own voice as a solo guitarist as rich and as individual as possible. My diversity has taken me to Nashville where I won a music award for Best Contemporary Country song of the year. I have played internationally, the casino circuit, the winery circuit, and I go where I can keep my hands on the strings as much as possible. 

FE: What can you offer a couple who wants to hire you to perform at their wedding?

JWG: I can offer professionalism in the way of beautiful romantic flamenco music. I can also hire flamenco dancers, if requested. I am very prompt, detail oriented, and understand the wedding day is the most important day of people's lives. I can play the wedding theme songs during the ceremony as well as provide beautiful flamenco music during the reception, dinner, and after dinner music as well. If you want to hear one your favorite songs I can perform an instrumental version played in a very passionate mood. 

FE: What tips do you have for a couple who wants any sort of live music at their wedding?

JWG: My biggest suggestion for a couple that wants live music at the ceremony, dinner, and reception, is to hire a live musician with passion. The music played is intimate and adds a personal touch to your event. 

FE: Is there anything else you'd like to share?

JWG: I would love to entertain your wedding party as well as provide the romantic musical touch to your ceremony and dinner party.
