Tahoe City @ Granlibakken
Let it snow, let it snow all winter long. Candice & Darren were dreaming of a white winter wonderland wedding for the special day that would be taking place on March 20th at the Granlibakken Lodge in Tahoe City. The Granlibakken is nestled in the mountain side that is minutes away from the beach side of Lake Tahoe. This place is home away from home as the owner sits in the lobby greeting guests and saying “Hello”!
The first day of spring turned out to be sunshine in the Sierra mountain at Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City. The ceremony was outside on the patio that was surrounded with snow and decorated with aspen trees and moss to bring in a little zest of spring with a few pine cones and lights for the evening.
The ballroom table décor was of metal tree dripping of crystals and few flowers to reflect winter and the mantel of the fire place had lit candles. The ballroom walls had pictures hanging of Candice & Darren engagement session. Each place setting had an oversized snow flake with silver glitter to indicate each place setting for the guest. Simplicity with a statement.
The reception night was filled with laughter and dancing all evening. At the end of the evening the bride and groom were sent off in a tunnel of lit sparklers by the guest hooting good cheers to them!
