Northern Nevada Table Top Designer of the year for 2008

NACE –National Association Catering Executives put the event on at the Reno Convention Center.

This is the first event for the Reno/Tahoe chapter here in Northern Nevada. The judges were Bill Frankmore, Shelby Sheehan from channel 4 KRNV and Gloria Thomas from Wedding Affair magazine.

Felicia Events (Felicia Gantar) collaborated with Art in Bloom (Hattie Reed) on the idea of Christmas in November which was the thyme for the event. Felicia and Hattie had made the decision of "Crystal Bliss". The whole idea was to give a feeling of everything to be frozen but with sophisticated taste in contemporary thyme. Also, they had Cynthia with Event Ink. in Lake Tahoe design the place cards that were named Mr. Jack Frost, Mrs. Clara Claus and etc. The menu/favor cards were made of chocolate too. The linen was by Creative Coverings in Reno. The table, pipe and drape were provided by Camelot Party Rentals in Reno. Classic Party Rentals from Sacramento was where the chairs, silverware, stemware and chargers were rented.

The table top took first place in the contemporary category and won overall for the show in 2008.
